Vicky Leatham is set to star in a musical film about the life of vice president Joe Biden in VP house, the popular TV show which ran for 13 seasons and was followed by an eight-part miniseries.
Leatham, who plays Nancy’s wife, is expected to play a former Biden aide who becomes a house music teacher and mentor to Nancy, who is the daughter of a US senator.
The actress was most recently seen in a cameo as a young woman in the Netflix original series House of Cards, which ran on Netflix last year.
“I’m really excited to be part of this film that is going to tell the story of the life and times of Joe Biden, the life that we’ve all known,” Leatham said in a statement.
“Vice President Biden is such a huge part of my life, and I am truly honored to be able to contribute to this special legacy that is about to unfold.”
Biden was vice president from January 2007 to January 2017.
The show has been on the air since 2007 and was filmed by the British TV production company Bunbury.
The series is set in the late 19th century, with Biden playing a politician, a doctor, a lawyer, a president and an executive.
The actors have a variety of roles, including the President’s Chief of Staff, Deputy Chief of Security and Chief of Mission.
The movie is expected in the coming months, the TV series said.
The film will be set in Washington DC and will be directed by actor Matt Weiner.
Leeson is one of a handful of actors to have been nominated for an Oscar nomination.
The other nominees for the award are Tom Hanks for The Imitation Game and Natalie Portman for The Theory of Everything.
The actor who plays Biden’s daughter, Nancy, also starred in The Theory Of Everything.
A total of nine people have been confirmed to be nominated so far.
Leghar, who recently starred in the TV show The Goldbergs, is currently filming her latest movie, The Secret Life of Bees.
